Ingredients

  • 1 cup uncooked short grain brown rice
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • 4 cups whole milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp salt

Instructions

  1. 1. Boil 4 cups of water in a medium pot.
  2. 2. Add the rice and simmer for about 20 minutes until the water is absorbed.
  3. 3. Add the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
  4. 4. Lower the heat and simmer for about 45 minutes, stirring periodically until thickened.
