Instructions
- Combine milk, coconut milk, rice, and salt in a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 12-15 minutes until rice is tender.
- Stir gently to prevent sticking and burning.
- Remove from heat and add sugar, vanilla extract, nutmeg, cinnamon, and cardamom.
- Return to heat and cook until desired thickness is reached, then stir in raisins.
- Serve warm with chopped pineapple or mango, or chill until ready to eat.
