Ingredients

The cheese ball

  • 1 brick cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • cup bbq sauce
  • 6 strips bacon
  • 4 pieces green onions

The coating

  • ¼ cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Combine half of the bacon, half of the green onions, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and bbq sauce in a mixing bowl and stir until combined.
  2. Taste and season with salt and pepper if needed.
  3. Transfer the mixture to plastic wrap, shape into a ball, and wrap tightly.
  4. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours until firm.
  5. Mix the remaining bacon, green onions, and pecans on a plate.
  6. Unwrap the cheese ball and roll it in the bacon mixture until coated.
  7. Serve immediately with crackers or vegetable sticks.
