Grilled Salmon

Ingredients

The marinade

  • cup Olive oil
  • 3 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp Maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Fresh dill (chopped)
  • 1 clove Garlic (minced)
  • ¾ tsp Sea salt
  • ¼ tsp Black pepper

The salmon

  • 4 6-oz Salmon fillets (skin on, about 1 inch thick)

Instructions

  1. Make the marinade using the listed ingredients.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry and place them in a bag or bowl with the marinade. Seal and marinate for 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat towards the end of the marinating time.
  4. Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it on the grill, skin side down. Grill for 6-8 minutes until the bottom is light pink and doesn't stick.
  5. Carefully flip the salmon using tongs or a spatula. Grill for an additional 2-5 minutes until it reaches the desired internal temperature.
  6. Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
