The salmon

Salmon fillets (skin on, about 1 inch thick)
Instructions
- Make the marinade using the listed ingredients.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry and place them in a bag or bowl with the marinade. Seal and marinate for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat towards the end of the marinating time.
- Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it on the grill, skin side down. Grill for 6-8 minutes until the bottom is light pink and doesn't stick.
- Carefully flip the salmon using tongs or a spatula. Grill for an additional 2-5 minutes until it reaches the desired internal temperature.
- Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
