Ingredients

The asparagus

  • 1 lb. asparagus (thick spears)

The seasoning and oil

  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 tsp. fresh parsley
  • a pinch sea salt
  • 1 tsp. freshly cracked pepper

The cheese

  • ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Combine olive oil, minced garlic, and parsley in a bowl.
  2. Sprinkle sea salt and pepper on the asparagus and brush with the olive oil mixture.
  3. Grill the asparagus for 5 to 10 minutes.
  4. Plate the asparagus and sprinkle with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
