Ingredients

The asparagus

  • 1 lb Asparagus (woody ends cut off)

The seasoning

  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • ½ tsp Garlic powder (optional)
  • ¼ tsp Sea salt
  • ¼ tsp Black pepper
  • to taste Lemon wedges (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill over medium-high heat for 5-10 minutes.
  2. Arrange the asparagus in a baking dish and drizzle with olive oil.
  3. Sprinkle with sea salt, black pepper, and garlic powder, then toss to coat.
  4. To grill directly, place asparagus on the grill perpendicular to the grates and grill for 2-4 minutes, turning halfway.
  5. To grill in foil, wrap asparagus in foil and cook for 10-15 minutes, turning halfway.
  6. Serve with a squeeze of lemon if desired.
