Instructions
- Blend the scotch bonnet pepper, garlic, fruit, and onions in a food processor or blender, adding vinegar to help blend.
- Mix in cumin, mustard, white pepper, and brown sugar. Adjust seasoning with salt.
- Refrigerate the sauce until ready to use.
- Alternatively, sauté the scotch bonnet pepper, garlic, and onions in oil for 1-2 minutes.
- Let the mixture cool, then blend with the other ingredients to desired consistency.
- Return to the saucepan, add more oil if needed, bring to a boil, and simmer for about 15 minutes.
- Adjust seasoning and refrigerate until ready to use.
