Instructions
- Heat oil in a skillet and add chicken, cooking for 4-5 minutes until fully cooked.
- Whisk together the bourbon, soy sauce, ketchup, apple cider vinegar, chicken stock, cornstarch, and brown sugar to make the sauce.
- Add minced garlic, ginger, and white pepper to the chicken and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Add red pepper flakes and adjust sauce thickness with broth if needed.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions, then serve over rice.
