Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat and brown the ground beef and pork.
- Add onion and garlic, cooking until the meat is well browned, then mix in the seasonings.
- Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, water, and chicken bouillon.
- Simmer the sauce for 20-30 minutes, adjusting with water or tomato sauce as needed.
- Soak the lasagna noodles in boiling water for 30 minutes, then drain and rinse.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese with egg, parsley, Parmesan, salt, and nutmeg.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a casserole dish.
- Layer the ingredients in the dish, starting with meat sauce, noodles, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella, repeating the layers.
- Cover with foil and bake for 50 minutes, removing the foil halfway through.
