Instructions
- Preheat the Belgian waffle iron to medium.
- Combine the dry ingredients in a mixer.
- In a separate bowl, combine the wet ingredients, including the melted butter.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
- Spray the hot waffle iron with cooking spray.
- Add about ½ cup of the waffle mix to the iron and spread it evenly.
- Close the lid and cook for about 1 minute and 45 seconds until browned and fluffy.
- Remove the waffle and repeat with the remaining batter.
- Top with butter and maple syrup before serving.
