The glaze

powdered sugar

Instructions
- Preheat the doughnut maker or oven to 375°F and grease the pan.
- Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl.
- Add the flax egg, milk, and butter; mix until well combined.
- Stir in the molasses.
- Fill a pastry bag or ziplock bag with the mixture and pipe it into the doughnut maker or pan.
- If using a doughnut maker, cook for about 2 minutes or until set; if baking, bake for 10 minutes.
- Remove the doughnuts and let them cool on a wire rack.
- For the glaze, mix the ingredients together and boil for about 30 seconds.
- Dip the cooled doughnuts into the glaze and place them back on the wire rack.
