Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a Silpat mat.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
- In a large bowl, whisk the egg white, vanilla, and water until frothy.
- Add the pecans to the egg mixture and toss to coat them well.
- Sprinkle the sugar mixture over the pecans and toss until they are evenly covered.
- Spread the coated pecans in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 30-45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes, until the sugar mixture hardens.
- Remove from the oven and let the pecans cool on the baking sheet before storing them in an airtight container.
