The nuts

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add sugar, water, vanilla extract, salt, and cinnamon to the skillet and mix until combined.
  3. Stir occasionally until the sugar has completely dissolved.
  4. Add the pecans to the skillet and stir often until they are coated and the mixture begins to crystallize.
  5. Remove the pan from heat and let it sit for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Stir the pecans with a wooden spoon to prevent large clusters from forming.
  7. Allow the pecans to cool completely before breaking them up.
