Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add sugar, water, vanilla extract, salt, and cinnamon to the skillet and mix until combined.
- Stir occasionally until the sugar has completely dissolved.
- Add the pecans to the skillet and stir often until they are coated and the mixture begins to crystallize.
- Remove the pan from heat and let it sit for 1-2 minutes.
- Stir the pecans with a wooden spoon to prevent large clusters from forming.
- Allow the pecans to cool completely before breaking them up.
