Homemade Eggnog

Ingredients

The base

  • 2 large eggs, separated
  • cups heavy cream
  • ½ cup water

Flavorings

  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla stevia
  • teaspoon celtic sea salt

Instructions

  1. Combine egg yolks, heavy cream, and water in a food processor and blend for 45 seconds.
  2. Pulse in honey, nutmeg, and vanilla stevia.
  3. If using, pulse in salt.
  4. Whip egg whites to stiff peaks using a hand blender.
  5. Mix the whipped egg whites into the eggnog mixture with three quick pulses.
  6. Chill the eggnog and serve.
