Lemon Achiote Grilled Tofu

The tofu

extra firm tofu
Instructions
- Whisk together achiote powder, cayenne pepper, and sugar.
- Smash garlic with salt to make a paste and add to the marinade mixture along with lemon juice.
- Whisk until combined.
- Place tofu in a baking dish and pour the marinade over it, ensuring all sides are coated.
- Refrigerate for at least one hour, flipping the tofu occasionally if possible.
- Preheat the grill to medium heat.
- Brush the top of each tofu slab with leftover marinade and grill until golden with grill marks, flipping halfway through.
- Serve the grilled tofu as desired.
