Instructions
- Pack pitted dates tightly in a Mason jar.
- Pour water over the dates, cover, and let soak overnight or for at least 12 hours.
- Alternatively, microwave the jar loosely covered for about 2 minutes to soften the dates.
- Transfer the soaked dates and water to a food processor.
- Add vanilla extract and salt, then process for 5-8 minutes until smooth and creamy.
- Transfer the date paste back to the jar and store in the fridge.
