Instructions
- Remove the pits from the dates and place them in a food processor or high-quality blender.
- Add the water and process for about 30 seconds.
- Turn off the machine and scrape down the sides, then process for another 30 seconds.
- If the mixture is still sticky with noticeable chunks, add water 1 teaspoon at a time and process until smooth.
- Store the paste in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks or freeze it in an ice cube tray for several months.
