  • 1 tablespoon good quality Brandy (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Combine the first five ingredients in a small pot and cook on medium-high heat until boiling.
  2. Reduce heat to low and whisk the mixture, ensuring it bubbles without boiling over.
  3. Boil for 5 minutes, then remove from heat.
  4. Add the butter and whisk until melted.
  5. Stir in the chocolate chips and let sit for 1 minute before whisking until dissolved.
  6. Finish by adding vanilla and brandy, whisking until fully incorporated.
