Instructions
- Heat oil in a large sauté pan over medium heat and add the onions, cooking until caramelized.
- Mince garlic and combine with pork and spices in a food processor, processing until just ground.
- Shape the mixture into 4 patties.
- Preheat the grill on medium heat and lightly oil the grate.
- Cook the patties for about 4 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
- Let the patties rest for 3 minutes before serving.
- Assemble the burgers on buns with mustard and sauerkraut.
