Instructions
- Sift together the flour, cake mix, salt, and baking soda in a large bowl.
- Beat the softened butter and both sugars until creamy, then add the egg and vanilla, mixing until combined.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, then mix in the chocolate chips and sprinkles.
- Cover the dough tightly and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and prepare baking sheets.
- Scoop rounded balls of dough onto the baking sheets, shaping them taller than wide.
- Bake for 13-15 minutes until the edges are lightly browned and the centers are soft.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
