The oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat a grill or grill pan to high heat.
  2. Slice the halloumi into ½-inch-thick planks.
  3. Rub both sides of the halloumi with olive oil.
  4. Place the halloumi on the hot grill.
  5. Reduce the heat to medium and grill for 2 to 3 minutes per side until well-charred.
