Instructions
- Prepare the cookie dough by mixing the heat-treated flour, cornstarch, and salt in a bowl.
- In a separate bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy, then add brown sugar and mix until fluffy.
- Incorporate the egg whites and vanilla extract into the butter mixture.
- Gradually add the flour mixture and mix until combined, then fold in the chocolate chips.
- Chill the cookie dough while you make the buttercream.
- For the buttercream, beat the softened butter until fluffy, then add vanilla, milk, and salt.
- Gradually add confectioners’ sugar and mix until light and fluffy.
- Break the cookie dough into chunks and mix into the buttercream until just combined.
- Use the frosting immediately or store it in the refrigerator or freezer.
