Instructions
- Brown the butter in a sauté pan over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes until it turns amber brown.
- Pour the brown butter into a dish and let it cool for an hour.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a baking sheet.
- In a large bowl, whisk the cooled brown butter and eggs together.
- Add coconut sugar and vanilla to the mixture and whisk until combined.
- In a medium bowl, mix almond flour, rolled oats, baking soda, and salt.
- Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients and stir until well mixed.
- Chop the chocolate bars into small chunks and fold them into the dough.
- Scoop the dough into balls to form 16 cookies, place them on the baking sheet, and flatten slightly.
- Bake for 10 minutes, then drop the tray on the counter three times to flatten the cookies further.
- Bake for an additional 3-4 minutes.
- Let cool completely and sprinkle with flaky sea salt if desired.
