Ingredients

Peanut Butter Base

  • ¾ cup creamy salted peanut butter
  • ½ cup almond flour
  • 2 Tbsp maple syrup
  • ¼ tsp sea salt

Chocolate Topping

  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 Tbsp creamy salted peanut butter
  • ½ tsp coconut oil

Optional Topping

  • to taste flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. Line a standard-size loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium microwavable bowl, combine peanut butter, almond flour, maple syrup, and optional sea salt, mixing until well combined.
  3. Press the peanut butter mixture into the prepared loaf pan.
  4. In the same bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 30-second intervals in the microwave, stirring to prevent burning.
  5. Once melted, stir in peanut butter and coconut oil until smooth.
  6. Pour the chocolate mixture over the peanut butter base and sprinkle with flaky sea salt if desired.
  7. Freeze for about 20 minutes until the chocolate is set.
  8. Lift the bars out of the pan using the parchment paper and slice into approximately 14 bars.
