Ingredients

The burgers

  • 1 lb raw 95% lean ground beef
  • 1 container (2 oz) Sabra Pizza Flavored Hummus Singles
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • ½ cup 2% shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 8 slices turkey pepperoni
  • 8 whole wheat slider buns

The sauce

  • 4 teaspoons pizza sauce

Instructions

  1. Combine ground beef, hummus, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl and mix well.
  2. Form the mixture into 8 equally sized balls.
  3. Mist a skillet with cooking spray and heat to medium-high.
  4. Place the meatballs in the skillet and press down to form patties.
  5. Cook for 3-4 minutes, then flip each patty.
  6. Top each patty with shredded mozzarella and cover to melt the cheese for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Transfer the cooked patties to slider buns, add pizza sauce and pepperoni, and serve immediately.
