Easy Creamy Roasted Garlic Hummus

Ingredients

  • 28 oz canned low sodium chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • ½ cup tahini
  • 3–4 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 12–14 cloves roasted garlic
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt (or more to taste)
  • 1–2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. Roast the garlic following a tutorial.
  2. Drain and rinse the chickpeas, then dry them with a paper towel.
  3. Add chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, roasted garlic, cumin, and salt to a food processor.
  4. Blend for 2-3 minutes until creamy.
  5. If too thick, add water a tablespoon at a time until desired consistency is reached.
  6. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 4-5 days.
