Baked Buffalo Wings

Ingredients

The wings

  • 3 lbs chicken wings, split (about 16 wings)

The seasoning

  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp kosher salt

The sauce

  • ¾ cup wing sauce

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. 2. Cover a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
  3. 3. Rinse the wings under cold water and pat them dry.
  4. 4. Separate the wing from the drumette at the joint using a sharp knife.
  5. 5. In a large bowl, toss the wings with garlic powder, paprika, chili powder, salt, and ¼ cup of wing sauce until evenly coated.
  6. 6. Place the wings on the wire rack and bake for 20 minutes.
  7. 7. Flip the wings and return them to the oven for another 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
  8. 8. Toss the cooked wings in the remaining ½ cup of wing sauce and serve with carrots, celery, and blue cheese dressing.
