Baked Buffalo Wings

Ingredients

The wings

  • 4 pounds chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder

The sauce

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce

For serving

  • to taste blue cheese dressing
  • to taste celery sticks

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 250°F and prepare a baking sheet with foil and a wire rack coated with nonstick spray.
  2. Pat the wings dry and toss them with baking powder in a plastic bag.
  3. Arrange the wings skin-side up on the rack and bake for 30 minutes.
  4. Increase the oven temperature to 425°F and bake for an additional 45 to 50 minutes until crispy.
  5. In a bowl, mix melted butter and hot sauce, then toss the baked wings in the sauce.
  6. Serve with blue cheese dressing and celery sticks.
