Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat, then whisk in the flour and cook for two minutes.
- Slowly whisk in the milk, garlic powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper, and simmer until thickened, about five minutes.
- Stir in the shredded cheeses one handful at a time until fully mixed.
- Add the frozen corn, ham, and half of the crispy bacon, then taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Transfer the mixture to a small casserole dish and sprinkle the french fried onions on top, covering with foil.
- Bake for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
- Garnish with the remaining bacon and chopped green onions before serving.
