Ingredients

The mushrooms

  • 2 pounds whole mushrooms

The butter mixture

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh herbs (parsley)

For coating

  • cooking spray

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 425°F and coat a sheet pan with cooking spray.
  2. 2. Arrange the whole mushrooms in a single layer on the sheet pan.
  3. 3. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  4. 4. Drizzle the butter mixture over the mushrooms and toss to coat evenly.
  5. 5. Place the pan in the oven and roast for 15-20 minutes until the mushrooms are tender, stirring halfway through.
  6. 6. Sprinkle with fresh herbs and serve immediately.
