Ingredients

The mushrooms

  • 12 oz white mushrooms

The seasoning and sauce

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon thyme
  • ½ tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 3 dashes ground black pepper
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (207°C).
  2. Heat a skillet and add the butter and olive oil until melted.
  3. Add the garlic, thyme, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and lime juice to the skillet and sauté until well combined.
  4. Add the mushrooms to the skillet and stir to coat them well with the ingredients.
  5. Sprinkle the breadcrumbs on top of the mushrooms.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the oven and roast the mushrooms for 12 minutes.
  7. Serve immediately.
