Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x9 baking dish.
- In a large bowl, toss the chopped apples with lemon juice, sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and salt.
- Transfer the apple mixture to the prepared baking dish.
- In the same bowl, combine brown sugar, gluten-free flour, almond meal, oats, cinnamon, and salt.
- Add melted non-dairy butter to the dry ingredients and mix until it resembles wet sand.
- Sprinkle the topping over the apples in the baking dish.
- Bake until the apples are soft and the topping is golden brown, about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
- Let it rest for 10-15 minutes before serving.
