Instructions
- Whisk together the mayo, sesame oil, vinegar, maple syrup, salt, miso, and ginger in a bowl and refrigerate.
- Mix the 5-spice, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, ginger, black pepper, cayenne, and sugar in another bowl.
- Pat the salmon dry and cut it into 1-inch chunks, then toss in the spice mix until coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F and arrange the salmon in a single layer in the basket.
- Air fry for 3 minutes, turn the salmon pieces, and cook for another 2 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 125°F.
- Serve with the dipping sauce and garnish with scallions and sesame seeds.
