Ingredients

The spice rub

  • 1 ½ tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • ¾ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • teaspoon mustard powder

The salmon

  • 1 ¼ pounds salmon fillets
  • 1 ½ tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley
  • to taste none lemon wedges

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F.
  2. Mix the brown sugar and spices in a bowl.
  3. Brush olive oil over the salmon fillets and rub the spice mixture into them.
  4. Place the salmon fillets skin side down in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  5. Cook for 8-10 minutes until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily.
  6. Sprinkle with parsley and serve with lemon wedges if desired.
