Ingredients

The salmon

  • 2 6-ounce salmon fillets

The crust

  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • to taste freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
  2. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on a plate.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Pat the salmon dry and brush with Dijon mustard, then coat with the brown sugar mixture.
  5. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and place the salmon fillets inside.
  6. Cook the salmon for 5 to 8 minutes until it reaches the desired doneness.
  7. Remove the salmon and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
