Ingredients

The salmon

  • 2 fillets salmon (about 6 ounces each, 1 1/2 inches thick)

The seasoning

  • 2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • ½ teaspoon fine sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400ºF if required.
  2. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, and minced garlic.
  3. Spoon the mixture over the salmon fillets and rub it on the sides.
  4. Generously season the salmon with salt and pepper.
  5. Spray the air fryer basket with oil to prevent sticking if desired.
  6. Arrange the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
  7. Cook at 400ºF for 7 minutes.
  8. Check the internal temperature; it should reach at least 140ºF.
  9. If not done, return to the air fryer for an additional 1 to 2 minutes.
  10. Let the salmon rest briefly before serving.
