Instructions
- Pat the pork chops dry and season both sides with salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat and sear the pork chops until browned, then set aside.
- Reduce heat and caramelize the sliced onions in the same pot for 15-20 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Add minced garlic and thyme to the onions and sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth, scraping the bottom of the pot, and simmer until the sauce thickens.
- Stir in the cream cheese until melted into the sauce.
- Return the pork chops to the pot, covering them with sauce, and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
