Instructions
- Pat dry the pork chops and season with salt and Cajun seasoning.
- Mix flour, paprika, cayenne pepper, white pepper, granulated onion, and garlic powder on a plate.
- Dredge the pork chops in the flour mixture until coated, shaking off excess flour.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and fry the pork chops until golden brown, about 4 to 5 minutes per side.
- Remove the chops and set aside. Sauté onions in the skillet for 2-3 minutes, then add garlic and thyme, cooking for an additional 3-5 minutes until onions are wilted.
- Remove the onions and add butter to the skillet, letting it melt.
- Stir in the leftover seasoned flour to form a paste, then gradually whisk in milk and chicken broth until thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Return the onions to the skillet, mix well, and season with salt and pepper.
- Add the pork chops back to the skillet along with their juices, bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.
- Cook for 30-45 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pork is tender.
