Instructions
- Preheat a skillet or cast-iron pan on medium heat.
- Season the pork chops with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Drizzle olive oil in the skillet to coat it.
- Add the pork chops to the pan and cook each side for 4-5 minutes until they reach an internal temperature of at least 145 degrees.
- Remove the pork chops from the pan and set aside.
- Add butter and olive oil to the skillet and melt.
- Add sliced onions and cook until translucent and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in flour gradually to avoid clumping.
- Add heavy whipping cream, chicken broth, and garlic powder, stirring until the sauce thickens.
- Return the pork chops to the skillet with the gravy and serve.
