The garlic

  • 1 whole garlic bulb

The seasoning

  • to taste extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Trim the top ¼ inch off the garlic bulb.
  3. Place the garlic cut-side up on a piece of foil, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt.
  4. Wrap the garlic in the foil and roast for 40 to 60 minutes until the cloves are deeply golden brown and tender.
  5. Use in recipes that call for roasted garlic or freeze for later use.
