Roasted Garlic

Ingredients

The garlic

  • 1 bulb garlic

The oil

  • 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil

The equipment

  • 1 piece aluminum foil
  • 1 small baking dish baking dish

Instructions

  1. Select plump garlic bulbs.
  2. Remove the papery covering of the garlic bulb without breaking the cloves.
  3. Trim the top of the garlic bulb to expose the cloves.
  4. Place the trimmed garlic bulb in the center of a piece of aluminum foil.
  5. Drizzle with 1 teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil.
  6. Cover the garlic tightly with the foil.
  7. Place the covered garlic bulb in a small baking dish.
  8. Roast in a 375°F oven for 40 minutes.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool for about 5 minutes.
  10. Remove from foil and serve immediately.
