Instructions
- Take a whole head of garlic and peel off any excess paper around the edges.
- Cut off the top part of the garlic head to expose the cloves.
- Place the cut head on a piece of foil, sprinkle with kosher salt, and drizzle with olive oil.
- Seal the foil tightly around the garlic.
- Place the foil-wrapped garlic in the oven at 400 degrees for about 30-40 minutes.
- Check if the garlic is soft using a towel or potholder.
- Let it cool, then unwrap and squeeze out the soft cloves or use a fork to pop them out.
