Roasted Garlic

Ingredients

The garlic

  • 3-4 heads large garlic

The seasoning

  • 1-2 sprigs thyme (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Peel the outer layers of the garlic head without touching the head.
  2. Cut the top ¼” to ½” off the garlic head to expose the cloves.
  3. Place the garlic on foil with thyme and drizzle with olive oil.
  4. Wrap the garlic in parchment paper or foil and tie with kitchen twine.
  5. Roast in the oven at 400°F for about 35-40 minutes until soft and fragrant.
  6. Let cool, then squeeze the cloves out of the skin.
