Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C).
- 2. Peel and discard the outer layers of the garlic heads, then cut about ¼ to ½ inch off the top of each head.
- 3. Line a baking dish with foil and place the garlic heads cut side up on the foil.
- 4. Sprinkle each head with salt and pepper, then drizzle with olive oil, ensuring it runs between the cloves.
- 5. Close the foil around the garlic and seal it.
- 6. Roast in the oven for 30-40 minutes until soft and caramelized.
- 7. Let cool slightly, then squeeze the roasted garlic out into a bowl.
