Ingredients

The garlic

  • 8 heads Garlic

The seasoning

  • ½ tsp Sea salt
  • ¼ tsp Black pepper

The oil

  • ¼ cup Olive oil

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C).
  2. 2. Peel and discard the outer layers of the garlic heads, then cut about ¼ to ½ inch off the top of each head.
  3. 3. Line a baking dish with foil and place the garlic heads cut side up on the foil.
  4. 4. Sprinkle each head with salt and pepper, then drizzle with olive oil, ensuring it runs between the cloves.
  5. 5. Close the foil around the garlic and seal it.
  6. 6. Roast in the oven for 30-40 minutes until soft and caramelized.
  7. 7. Let cool slightly, then squeeze the roasted garlic out into a bowl.
