Ingredients

The garlic

  • 1 head garlic

The oil

  • 1 tsp olive oil

The equipment

  • 1 piece tin foil
  • 1 small oven-safe dish or muffin tin oven-safe dish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Peel off the loose skin of the garlic head.
  3. Cut off the top of the garlic head to expose the cloves.
  4. Drizzle about 1 tsp of olive oil on top of the exposed cloves.
  5. Wrap the garlic head in tin foil and place it in a small oven-safe dish or muffin tin.
  6. Roast in the oven for 35-55 minutes until the cloves are golden.
  7. Allow to cool for 10-15 minutes before squeezing the garlic out of the skins.
