Ingredients

The brownies

  • ½ cup Unsalted butter
  • 4 oz Unsweetened baking chocolate
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup Wholesome Yum Blanched Almond Flour
  • cup Besti Powdered Monk Fruit Allulose Blend
  • 2 tbsp Dutch processed cocoa powder
  • ¼ tsp Sea salt
  • 2 large Eggs

Optional frosting

  • ½ recipe Sugar-Free Chocolate Frosting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and line an 8x8 in baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter and chocolate together in a double boiler until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Add the almond flour, powdered sweetener, cocoa powder, sea salt, and eggs to the mixture and stir until uniform.
  5. Transfer the batter to the lined pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for about 13-18 minutes until a toothpick comes out almost clean.
  7. Cool completely before moving or frosting.
  8. If desired, spread frosting on top before slicing into squares.
