Ingredients

The pork chops

  • 4 pieces Boneless pork chops (8-oz, 1 inch thick)

The seasoning

  • 1 tsp Sea salt
  • ½ tsp Black pepper

The cooking fats

  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Unsalted butter

The glaze

  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • ¼ cup Wholesome Yum Zero Sugar Honey Substitute
  • 3 tbsp Chicken broth (reduced sodium)
  • 1 tbsp Apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Pat the pork chops dry and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a cast iron skillet until very hot. Sear the pork chops for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown, then remove from the pan.
  3. Lower the heat to medium, add butter to the pan, and sauté the garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add the sugar-free honey, chicken broth, and vinegar to the pan. Whisk and cook until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Return the pork chops to the pan and baste with the sauce, cooking until they reach an internal temperature of 140°F.
  6. Transfer the chops to a plate, spoon the sauce over them, and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
