Instructions
- Preheat a cast-iron skillet on medium heat while seasoning the pork chops.
- Season both sides of the pork chops with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Drizzle olive oil in the skillet to ensure it is fully coated.
- Add the pork chops to the skillet and cook each side for 4-5 minutes until they reach an internal temperature of at least 145°F.
- Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set aside.
- Add butter to the skillet along with the sliced onions and cook until the onions are translucent.
- Stir in the heavy cream and chicken broth, cooking until the sauce thickens.
- Return the pork chops to the skillet and serve.
