Instructions
- Heat milk and butter until melted and warm.
- In a mixer bowl, combine 3 cups flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Add egg and milk mixture, then mix until combined.
- Gradually add remaining flour until a dough forms, then knead for 5 minutes and let rest for 10 minutes.
- Mix together sugars and cinnamon for the filling.
- Roll out dough into a rectangle, spread with softened butter, and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture and chopped apples.
- Drizzle with caramel sauce and roll up tightly, then cut into 11-12 pieces.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise for 25 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F for 15-20 minutes until golden, then drizzle with remaining caramel sauce.
