Caramel Rolls with Apples and Walnuts

Instructions
- Mix 2 cups of flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a large bowl.
- Add lukewarm milk, egg, and butter, mixing until combined.
- Gradually add remaining flour until the dough is workable and elastic.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm spot for 1 hour.
- Punch down the dough and let it rest for another 30 minutes.
- Sauté apples, butter, sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla in a saucepan until apples are tender.
- Roll dough into a 9x15 rectangle and spread 1/3 of the apple mixture on top.
- Roll the dough and cut it into 12-15 rolls, placing them in a greased skillet.
- Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F and pour remaining apple mixture over the rolls.
- Bake for 15-25 minutes until lightly browned, then pour remaining sauce over before serving.
